Relive the Rock of YD '09: Mark Feldman

Mark Feldman had me wanting to go to a cabin and hide for a few days. Then he had me screaming ‘Who’s Got To Know’ at people. Not the whole song…just that one line. Over, and over, and over…

Seeing as he made the Top 5 last year out of over 100 YouDiscover competitors, I doubt it was just myself that enjoyed his music. Mark Feldman (or the MFB as sometimes referred to) played in week 3 of the YouDiscover ’09 competition and essentially blew everyone away. This talented gentleman brought out his harmonica and played it along with his sweet sounding guitar to a crowd that consisted of some hardcore MF fans! (Sidenote: I will still never understand how people multi-play instruments…kills me)

After performing in the Finale, Mark Feldman signed a 2-song deal with Orange Lounge Recordings as well as joined Alexz Johnson, Justin Hines and Robyn Dell’Unto at the inDiscover CMW 2010 Showcase where tons of fans and music execs came out to listen to some of his classics as well new tracks like ‘Paradise’.

He recently just wrapped up a trip to Israel and Poland where hewas the Musical Director for the March Of The Living 2010, a trip that lasted 14 days with 8000 participants. Mark claims the trip was ‘surreal’ which is probably an understatement.

Lastly, the Mark Feldman Band will be officially releasing their new record "Who's Got To Know" on Friday June 4th @ the Drake Underground. If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing him perform live yet….you should definitely go!
